PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- For live timing and scoring of the 2010 season of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, AMASupercross.com once again ensures that crucial results will be just a click away. Not only does AMASupercross.com keep fans plugged into the action with lap-by-lap data during each race, but the site features archived results, photo galleries, rider interviews, race reports and the official series media guide, including rider bios and the full history of AMA Supercross.
"For many fans, live timing and scoring from AMASupercross.com is their connection to lap-by-lap results," said AMA Director of Racing Joe Bromley. "For others, it's part of a larger multimedia AMA Supercross experience, supplementing other online coverage, such as the Supercross LIVE! Webcast at SupercrossOnline.com. Statistics also include fastest lap times and gaps between riders to give fans a snapshot perspective of the entire field that's hard to replicate unless you're sitting in the stadium.
"As always, live timing and scoring remains a free service to the fans of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, accessible only at AMASupercross.com," Bromley added.
While live and in-person is always the best way to experience Monster Energy AMA Supercross, fans who can't make it to the track are invited to follow the action online at AMASupercross.com. In addition to live timing and scoring, AMASupercross.com includes archived practice, qualifying and results information; on-location race-day photography by one of the sport's premier shooters, Jeff Kardas; racer interviews and race reports by longtime motorsports reporter Shan Moore; the official series media guide; rider numbers and biographies; schedule and ticket information; the official series rulebook; and rider bulletins and competition notices from AMA Racing.
AMA Supercross live timing and scoring will begin this Saturday morning, Jan. 9, as timed practice gets underway at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. Photos, race reports, interviews and commentary will be posted as soon as they are available.
