  • MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing Announces Partnership With Warthog Racing Academy
HOUSTON – Ever-expanding Supercross and motocross racing outfit Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing will partner with the very successful and innovative Warthog Racing Academy during the 2010 season. The partnership will enable both programs to share resources—providing more support for their riders and exposure for sponsors. The two partners will be pitting their transporters next to each other during the entire 2010 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series.

“The Warthog Racing Academy is honored to welcome Shea Racing into the Warthog Racing family,” said Scott Kandel, founder and chief altruistic officer of Warthog Racing. “Shea Racing will be the premier member of the Warthog Nation program for 2010, meaning we will pool resources where applicable and help each other throughout the season, including looking to graduate riders to the Shea Racing team. Of our many joint efforts already, we have named Ted Parks as Race Director of both teams. Teddy Parks, the fast up-and-comer in the Supercross Class will be carrying the flag for the Academy and Shea Racing. We are also sharing outstanding sponsors like Vertex, DeCal Works, and MotoConcepts. The 2010 season will be a great year for the riders who are getting the chance to live their dreams as professional racers. We are looking forward to it.”

Teddy Parks will compete in the entire seventeen-round Supercross Class, a move up from the Lites Class last season where he finished in the top 15 three times. Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing is proud to also announce that Vernon McKiddie will race the eight-round AMA Supercross East Region Lites Class. Team MXDesignz.com/Shea Racing expects Parks to continue to improve and make a mark in the premier Supercross class and is looking forward to McKiddie representing the team during its second-consecutive season in the East Region series.

“The Warthog Racing Academy has done so much for riders over the years and is a model program for teams at any level,” said Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing owner Tim Shea. “This partnership enables our team to support additional riders this season and provide more exposure for our sponsors now that we have the resources to compete in both classes. Joining forces with Warthog Racing, Teddy Parks moving up to the premier class and adding Vernon McKiddie, there is no doubt 2010 will be the best season for our entire team!”

Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing and the Warthog Racing Academy partnership will debut at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season opener in Anaheim, California on January 9. Meet the riders and check out the MXdesignz.com graffiti-inspired clothing line.
