Husaberg Team Places 2nd in Perry Mountain 24-Hour Challenge
Maplesville, AL – Husaberg team riders, Nick Fahringer, Robbie Jenks, Rory Sullivan, Michael Grizzle, Tommy Pierce and Mark Hutchinson finished 2nd overall at the Perry Mountain 24-Hour Challenge.
The five-member team started the event at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning and immediately moved to the front of the pack. The 11 mile long course, although challenging, was easy for the Husaberg team to tackle. “We never experienced one hiccup all day long. The bike performed flawlessly,” commented Fahringer.
Both the Husaberg and KTM Teams finished an impressive 50 laps in the day long race. When the checkered flag flew the Husaberg Team was only 10 minutes behind the 5-member KTM Team. “We are very happy with the team’s results in its first effort at a solid 24-hour race. The only thing we changed on the bike throughout the entire race was the rear tire and the air filter – we never even had to change the brake pads,” stated Jenks.
