Toronto, Canada - In the land of back bacon and toques, the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX supercross team placed two of its team’s riders in the 250 main event. Jason Thomas, almost half Canadian from his previous race experience up there and Kyle Keylon both made the main and did pretty well in getting twelfth and thirteenth respectively.

Normally we wouldn’t be that stoked with those places but you see Kyle was sick with some sort of virus that grabbed him when he crossed the border and wouldn’t let go. The good news is he holeshot the heat race on his WMI tuned bike and the bad news is we all saw what he ate all day as it was in the trashcan near the pits. JT did well to come from a start that saw him trailing the whole pack down the first straight. We’re not sure what he was doing but have reminded him of the whole five second thing when the card turns sideways. At the end of the first lap he was sixteenth and Keylon was nineteenth. All in all, a good showing for our 250 guys.

Our 450 rider Shaun “Mr” Skinner, didn’t make the main event but did get the coveted sixth place in the LCQ. “Our guys rode great tonight, JT’s start was horrible, Kyle was sick as a dog and Skinner competed hard” said team manager Forrest Butler “Now it’s onto Jacksonville where all the rider’s friends and family will come with their free tickets and eat free food at our pits”

The entire DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX team will take part in press day this weekend in Jacksonville where the local media will have a chance to interview our guys. On Friday the team will be signing autographs at a local Harley-Davidson dealership.
