Active8 Racing Performance Division Formed

  • Active8 Racing Performance Division Formed

Active8 Racing and Performance by Kenny G has joined to form the Active 8 Racing Performance division. Active8 owner and former Factory Yamaha and Suzuki mechanic Brian Berry, and former factory  Honda mechanic Kenny Germain, have joined forces to start the performance division of Active8 Racing.

Active8 Performance Mechanic Brian Berry says, “We started working together on the Boyesen racing team back in 1994, and we both have been in the industry ever since. It makes perfect sense to put our talents together and offer our factory racing knowledge to racers of all levels from amateurs all the way to the privateers in the AMA. We both have different strengths and drawing from both of us we will be able to turn out some factory quality race bikes.”

Kenny Germain added, “I’ve been working on four strokes since 2001 when Ernesto Fonseca and I made Supercross history by being the first four stroke to win a Supercross championship by winning the 2001 West Coast Supercross 125 Championship on the Yamaha of Troy YZ250F. Through years of testing at Factory Honda and working with riders like Ernesto Fonseca, Mike LaRocco, and Jeremy McGrath, we know how to make four strokes go fast. Also, my recent work with fan favorite John Dowd has really paid off in great gains. I am now ready to apply this experience in building race bikes for riders across the country.”

Come see Kenny G and Brian Berry at the Florida Winter Am Series events for repairs, performance upgrades, or full custom race bikes. Also check out our project bikes that will be at the races piloted by James Ragsdale, Brian Corley, and Chad Paulsen. Check out all of the trick parts and bikes at www.active8racing.com.
