Pingree In For Armadillo Supermoto
We just got word from our own David Pingree that he will be returning to action at the next round of the AMA Supermoto Lites series this weekend in Galveston, Texas, with his sights focused on the championship. If you remember, Pingree suffered two broken arms at the last round of the series in Redmond, Oregon, back on September 30, but after a successful surgery, his recovery has went a lot better than expected. "I feel great," Ping told us this afternoon. "I got a release from my doctor, so we're going racing. The wrists aren't 100 percent, but I got a special brace made and they feel good enough that I feel confident that I'll be able to run my normal pace." The Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull Honda team is also bringing over the Australian Supermoto champion to compete in the Lites class, in hopes of helping Pingree overcome a 19-point deficit in the remaining rounds. This is going to be good. For more information on the series, visit www.amasupermoto.com.
