  • Hertz Equipment Rental Joins 2006-’07 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series

Hertz signs as the official equipment rental company for all Toyota AMA Arenacross Series rounds

AURORA, Ill., (January 4, 2007) – Live Nation today announced that Hertz Equipment Rental has signed on as the “official” equipment rental company of record for the 2006-’07 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series season.

Hertz Equipment Rental, one of the nation’s leading providers of all types of rental construction equipment – ranging from hand-held tools to earth movers, boasts nearly 300 locations in the United States and Canada and offers a variety of rental and purchase programs.

“It’s a highly beneficial fit for both parties regarding Hertz Equipment Rental joining the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series,” Lenny Fuller said of Live Nation. “Construction equipment is synonymous with the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series. From the time the first load of dirt hits the floor to when the last dump truck is filled, much of the success of Toyota AMA Arenacross Series relies on heavy equipment. That being said, Live Nation looks forward to growing a long-term relationship with our new partners at Hertz Equipment Rental.”

With loaders, mid-size dozers and skid loaders – along with dump trucks – being utilized on an almost 24/7 basis leading up to the weekend’s events as well as during the events for track grooming purposes, reliable heavy construction equipment is paramount to the success of any Toyota AMA Arenacross event.

“Hertz Rental Equipment will be working closely with Live Nation and the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series to provide quality construction equipment from coast to coast,” said Michael Tracy, Senior Director, Marketing and e-Business for Hertz Equipment Rental. “The Toyota AMA Arenacross Series is a tremendous platform for us to showcase our top quality rental products. From dozers to dump trucks Hertz has the equipment to support Rigg Hipps and his team as they finish out the 2006-’07 series and crown a champion in Nashville (Tenn.).”
