Racer X has learned some good news: Travis Preston did not suffer any serious injuries in his late-race collision with James Stewart at the Toronto Supercross on Saturday night. In fact, Preston should be fine for Vancouver this weekend.
As far as Team Kawasaki's Stewart goes, there has been no official word on his condition, but we expect to hear something later on this afternoon. James was hit in the lower right leg by Travis when he re-entered the track right after the finish line after touching wheels with Chad Reed, sending him off course. The airborne Preston could not avoid Stewart and hit him. James got up to finish third but Travis did not finish the race.
