RC Update: Monday Morning MRI
After yesterday's epic endo in the first moto at Glen Helen brought Ricky Carmichael's afternoon to a halt, Carmichael and his family, plus friends Scott Taylor and J.H. Leale, and Kevin Windham and Alley Semar, shared a plane ride home. Windham and Semar were dropped off in Louisiana, then Team Carmichael arrived back in Tallahassee at 8 a.m. From there Ricky has an MRI scheduled at 10 a.m. to determine how much damage he sustained in the crash, according to Scott Taylor.
"Ricky is really sore -- doesn’t take pain killers -- but is in good spirits," said Scott, the AMA Team USA assistant manager. "He’s looking forward to getting things checked out later this morning."
Taylor sounded optimistic that Carmichael will still be able to race the Motocross des Nations in 13 days in England.
