One-Time Motocross Tribute Race to Honor 9-11 Fallen Firefighters and Police

BRAUN ENTERTAINMENT LLC, of Big Flats, New York, a promotional company owned by well-known entertainer, lecturer, announcer Erv Braun and family, produce one of the largest Motorcycle Racing Events in the United States….THE AMATEUR OPEN OF MOTOCROSS. Erv Braun stated; "The 2005 "Amateur Open" held in Phoenix Arizona brought together almost 1,500 motorcycle racers and created a week of festivities for families as far away as Alaska."

With a 30 + year entertaining history across America, September will bring Braun Entertainment home for a 9-11 call.

On the 5th anniversary of the New York Twin Towers Catastrophe in honor of the fallen firefighters and police personnel, BRAUN ENTERTAINMENT will produce a two-day Fire/Police Motocross Tribute Race at Frozen Ocean Motorsports Complex just south of Auburn, N.Y. The "911 MX-Race" will be held on Monday September 11th and Tuesday September 12th with both days being independent of each other, and open to spectators from the general public. All motocross racers are encouraged to participate at the memorial tribute in the many age, and rank level support classes. They do not have to be firefighters or police personnel.

Points will be awarded both days as rounds 7 and 8…. of the 10 round 2006 Fire Police MX National Series. The almost 20 year-old series was founded in the late 80’s by Los Angeles County Firefighter, Ed Wilson, and In recent years, it has been promoted by New York based promotional company Braun Entertainment. Opening rounds of the ’06 National Series were held in January at the Arizona Cycle Park just west of Phoenix, AZ. The final rounds (9 and 10) will be held October 16th and 17th at Mesquite, NV with an awards banquet for all participants and guests the evening of the 17th, at the Casablanca Hotel/Casino Resort, Mesquite, NV. Ed Wilson, along with numerous firefighters and police personnel, will be making the trip from California, Arizona, Nevada, and the South-Western United States. Alabama, Texas, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Massachusetts, and many other States will participate. Motorcycles from the west coast will be transported to and from the event by internationally known motorcycle selling service, Bikesellerz.com, via loaded 18-wheelers. Parts Unlimited, Weekend Warrior Trailers, and PPG will present the event. Ferris Trucking Company of Bath, N.Y. will be one of the many sponsors along with trackside vendors "Mulvaney Motorsports Headrush" (Camden, NY), and "MX Racing Support" (Moravia, NY) for racing needs.

All participants of the "911 MX-Race" will have their names listed in a Tribute Registry, and published in Cycle News. Television – Radio – Media – will give national coverage for this one-time MX Tribute Event.

"MXers For Jesus" Pastor Kevin Cozadd, will provide memorial services for all who wish to attend.

Braun Entertainment’s President, Erv Braun stated; "After promoting and announcing the biggest Motocross and Supercross events in the world, it’s an honor…. on behalf of Ed Wilson, the Fire Police MX Riders, and the Braun Family…. to be part of this memorial tribute in our home state…. New York".
