Minibike Race and Industry Night at Quaker Steak & Lube in PA
On the way to Steel City, it’s tradition for the AMA Motocross truck drivers to stop by at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon, PA for a big night off the road. The tradition continues this Wednesday night, August 30th. The semi trucks will be in town, and the industry folks will get to watch another round of the fierce, competitive and always entertaining Quaker Steak & Lube Mini Supermoto Nationals presented by IMXRacing.com.
They’ll be plenty of good food and drink at the Lube, while the parking lot will be converted into a state-of-the-art minibike supermoto track. The racing and festivities run from 6 – 8 p.m, rain or shine.
Should be a good crowd on hand, including Big B in the Kawasaki truck, Timmy Tyler with the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit rig, Loren from Red Bull KTM, Spanky from Suzuki and the Thor/Parts Unlimited trucks on hand. GNCC pros Jimmy Jarrett, Fred Andrews and Garrett Edmisten will sign some autographs, along with Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Champions Tom Carson and Jimmy Evans. This is a big event, so the goggle reps will be in attendance, too, including John and Nick the Intern from Scott, Fritz and the Smith rig, and Jumbotron John from Spy.
