Parts Unlimited Hospitality at Anaheim 1
Parts Unlimited played host to 600 dealer personnel while entertaining thousands with new displays, giveaways, and a rider autograph session.
Anaheim, CA January 7, 2006 – The Amp’d Mobile Supercross Series kicked off this weekend with some exciting racing in both divisions in front of a sell out crowd of 40,050 at Angel Stadium.
Parts Unlimited played host to 600 dealer personnel while entertaining thousands with new displays, giveaways, and a rider autograph session.
What better way to start off the season than to walk the pits before racing starts at Anaheim 1? If you ask all those dealers who participated in the annual Parts Unlimited Hospitality, they would probably say the Hospitality was icing on the cake!
Before the racing started, Parts Unlimited held their Hospitality for dealers, past and present champions and a few industry dignitaries located in the center of the pits. Parts Unlimited and Thor came together and created a comfortable and easy going atmosphere under the giant awnings from the semis. With the temperature rising and the sun blazing, it was the perfect opportunity for people to get some shade, get off their feet and fill up their bellies with amazing food and cold drinks.
The fun and excitement didn’t stop after dinner. Parts Unlimited had their emcee, Rob Buydos over at the Thor consumer rig entertaining guests by giving all kinds of goodies away. Once everything was gone, (including the empty boxes) riders such as Travis Pastrana, Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, Ivan Tedesco and more were under the Hospitality tents signing autographs.
As riders signed and chatted with fans, Buydos had them come up to a tower one by one and ask what their goals and thoughts were going into the new season.
Overall, it couldn’t have been a better day at the races. Everything was outstanding! The weather, the racing, the food, the fans, and everyone working within the races contributed to one of the most anticipated supercross races of all-time.
