THE CHASE CONTINUES
After sweeping both motos of the series opener back in May, Team Honda HRC’s Chase Sexton (23) managed to hold on to the red plate through the fourth round at High Point (just as his teammate Jett Lawrence did in the 250 Class). If Sexton ends up still holding the leader’s plate after the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross finale in September, he will become the first Honda rider to win the 450 Class Pro Motocross title since Ricky Carmichael way back in 2004. And the last time Team Honda swept both titles? That was back in 1995 when Jeremy McGrath and Steve Lamson were in their prime.
