Jeff Emig was a superstar in the 1990s, winning multiple titles in AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross before a back injury cut his professional career short. This year, at age 50, Emig decided to go back to Loretta Lynn’s for the 40th Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship as a vet rider. Shift MX documented the whole journey with their “Fro at 50” documentary series, which you can find on vurbmoto.com. Emig also kept notes on his return to the Ranch for you to read right here.
