Avs the 2005 season of Monster Energy Supercross approached, Billy Laninovich was ready to make the jump from supporting actor to leading man. After turning pro in 2002 he’d steadily improved, and in 2005 was eager to put a knee injury, suffered the year before, in the rearview and get back on the podium and chase his first win as a professional. He didn’t have to wait long.
