Professional Career
Matt Lemoine of Pilot Point, TX joined Star Racing for his 2007 professional debut. Prior to joining Star, Lemoine was one of the top amateur racers in the country, earning Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship titles in 2004 and 2006. Lemoine was an instant success in the West Coast Supercross Lites Championship finishing fourth in Phoenix, the second race of the series. Matt closed out his Supercross season eight in the Championship. Matt raced for Suzuki City in 2010 and will be riding East Coast Lites in 2011 Supercross. Away from the racetrack, Lemoine enjoys snowboarding, football, and a growing collection of cell phones.
“I first got start by going to a supercross and was like ‘this here looks very very fun’ then I came home the next day and that Sunday I had a trail bike. Then I started racing a little then try qualifying for Loretta Lynn’s after riding for only a couple of months. I placed 13th only riding for six months so thought that was pretty kool.”
