Blake Baggett, James Stewart In For Glen Helen [Update]
Well, this is quite a turn of events.
Yoshimura Suzuki’s Blake Baggett, who sustained a broken collarbone at the season opener and was expected to be out until High Point, according to a press release sent out by the team earlier this week, has decided to try and ride practice today at the second round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross at Glen Helen.
Earlier this week Baggett said: “There was a possibility that I might have been able to race this weekend. But I was told that any fall could cause further the damage, so in consultation with my doctors and the team we decided on a recovery plan that will give me time to fully heal and be ready to go by High Point.”
In other team news, James Stewart will also try and ride practice today after sustaining a shoulder injury at the opener.
