McGrath, Webb, Wey on DMXS Radio Tonight
Jeremy McGrath has really taken over the reins as Kawasaki’s new ambassador and has plenty to offer from his infinite base of knowledge to the riders, brand and team in his new role. His longstanding influence in our sport speaks to the respect he’s earned and kept throughout his career on and off the bike. We look forward to getting his perspective on the new season, Team Green and any other topics befitting a King.
Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb began the defense of his 250SX West title with a solid win at the anticipated opening round. Coop has repeatedly proven he is a force to be reckoned with, and even spent the off-season globetrotting and kicking some ass to stay sharp for the new season. Always a pleasure to have Coop back on the show.
Nick Wey will always hold a special place here at DMXS. He believed in us from the beginning and helped legitimize what we were trying to do from our very humble beginnings. We were bummed at the news of his retirement, but it also reminded us what a helluva ride it has been. We look forward to catching up with our friend tonight before his bingo game and early-bird special at the diner.
