East Rutherford Stats
[Long exhale] The sun is F-I-N-A-L-L-Y about to set on the seventeen round Monster Energy Supercross season. While there may not be much to look forward to in terms of championship battles—actually, there is nothing to look forward to in championship battles as they are all wrapped up—we do have the West meeting the East for the first time. So, yeah, that’s cool. Unlike last year, Vegas will only play host to the shootout, not the East and West Region championships. Before we get into this week, let’s look at a few stats from East Rutherford.

The 250 Shootout is a new series, so users will have to go to the PLAY page, under AVAILABLE SERIES. Then click on MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS, and you will see 250 Shootout class. From there click PLAY CLASS button and you will be ready to fill out your race card on the PLAY page.
Yep, we’re skipping 450SX this week. If you don’t know who those guys are by now, there is a great chance you aren’t close enough to contend anyway. With West vs. East taking place for the first time this year, it could shake some stuff up.
Joey Savatgy | East Region: 4th in points
With Justin Bogle and Jeremy Martin out for Vegas, the last podium spot could come down between Savatgy, Malcolm Stewart, and Shane McElrath. Savatgy had three straight to end the year. Just sayin.
Malcolm Stewart | West Region : 7th in points
In the five races he didn’t crash in, Stewart averaged a 2.5 finish. In the three he did, he averaged a twentieth place finish. I think he stays upright. Top five is a must.
Aaron Plessinger | West Region: 5th in points
The rookie has showed the poise of a veteran this year. He was mistake filled in Santa Clara, but judge him by his entire season, not just one race.
Alex Martin | West Region: 6th in points
A-Mart has had a career year in 2015. He scored his first two podiums and has an additional two top-fives. I like 6-10 in Vegas.
RJ Hampshire | East Region: 5th in points
Another rookie who’s showed promise. A good start is top ten.
Jace Owen | East Region: 15th in points
The privateer has done a lot with a little in 2015. He had three top-tens in the final four rounds. I think he gets pushed outside the top ten, but 11-15 is a strong pick.
Jackson Richardson | West Region: 13th in points
Another privateer who has done a lot with a little. The Aussie is coming off a seasons best sixth in Santa Clara, but 11-15 is probably closer to reality.
It’s time to pull out the big guns. Throw the kitchen sink into Vegas. You ain’t coming back from this. If you’re in a hole, pick pole position, heat winner, and holeshots. Why not? To help, we will make a few picks.
Pole Position: Eli Tomac
Heat Winner: Ryan Dungey
Holeshot: Ryan Dungey
Pole Position: Cooper Webb
Heat Winner: Marvin Musquin
Holeshot: Marvin Musquin
