Frank Rice Recovery Fund
Frank Rice 29, of Zelienople, Pennsylvania was involved in a serious motocross accident a few weeks ago. He sustained a shattered pelvis and separated shoulder. Frank has since undergone surgery to repair his pelvis, and although doctors are optimistic about his recovery, it is projected that he will not be able to put any weight on the pelvis due to the nature of the injury for at least three months. Unfortunately, this means he will be out of work for the next several months. Being that his current insurance will not cover the surgery or compounding medical bills, this has put Frank and his fiancé in a very difficult financial situation.
Frank has been involved in the motocross industry his entire life. He grew up racing district 5 in western Pennsylvania and has since devoted his life to the aftermarket motor and suspension development industry. Frank graduated from the American Motorcycle Institute and has since worked for PR2, Real Motocross.com, Golden Wrench, and most recently for the last several years has worked at FCR Suspension as well as spearheaded FCR Mod’s motor division. He has also founded Amateur MX Training which offers one-on-one riding lessons and coaching to local up-and-coming 50, 65, and 85 riders in western PA. Frank has devoted his life to this sport that we all love. In this difficult time for Frank it would be extremely beneficial for him to be able to focus on healing his body and getting back on his feet without the added burden of making ends meet financially. A recovery fund has been set up on Gofundme.com to help aid him and his fiancé in this time of need. A link to this fund can be found at Frank Rice Recovery Fund. Any help is greatly appreciated! Get well soon Frank.
