Supercross Behind the Dream Ep. 3 on Fox Sports 1 Sunday
AURORA, Ill.-The third chapter of the acclaimed eight-episode documentary series Monster Energy Supercross Behind the Dream will air this Sunday, February 15 less than 24 hours after the checkered flag falls on the seventh race of the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. FOX Sports 1 will premiere the third episode of the series at 10:30 a.m. EST/ 7:30 a.m. PST.
The unmatched, behind-the-scenes access of Behind the Dream has made it one of the most recognized series as it follows the journeys, both on and off the track, of the superstars of Monster Energy Supercross and their quest for a championship. The first two episodes showcased the incredible depth of talent that inspired the #WhosNext tagline for the 2015 season, as well as an in-depth look into RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John's Factory Suzuki rider Ken Roczen's assertive start to the championship.
The third installment of Behind the Dream will follow Red Bull KTM rider Ryan Dungey's path to the top of the championship standings. Arguably the most persistent rider of his generation, Dungey relied on unmatched consistency to assume control of the 450SX Class points in Oakland and cemented his position as the championship leader by winning the following weekend in Anaheim. While the former Monster Energy Supercross Champion's on-track ability is well documented, Behind the Dream looks into Dungey's personal life at the track and at home, and how it influences his performance on a motorcycle. Red Bull KTM mechanic Carlos Rivera, and MMI graduate, has been by Dungey's side since he joined the team in 2012 and their relationship has played a major role in the success they've enjoyed together. Additionally, Dungey's wife, Lindsay, provides the stability needed at home to keep the Minnesota native with a clear mindset as the grueling season wears on.
