Roger DeCoster has helped KTM North America become a powerhouse in American Motocross and Supercross racing. Last year he celebrated his 70th birthday and he's accomplished so much in his short time with KTM. This year his 450 riders are Ryan Dungey and Dean Wilson and on the 250 Marvin Musquin and Justin Hill.
This is first year the TLD team is on orange equipment and they're adapting well to the KTM 250 SX-F Factory bikes. Jessy Nelson came out swinging in the first round to lead every lap and take his first win in supercross. This is his third year in supercross and he's currently tied for second place in points with Tyler Bowers and only 4 points behind class leader Cooper Webb.
The AMSOIL Arenacross series has enjoyed record number turnouts already this year and the premier class has provided some serious racing and all the drama we arenacross fans enjoy. Matt Goerke has managed to be consistent through it all and now finds himself on top of the points. The series heads to Colorado Springs this weekend.
Dan Westby will be racing in the 2015 MotoAmerica Series on a bigger Yamaha than he raced in 2014. "The Wolverine" will step up from his Yamaha R6 and race the brand-new Yamaha R1 in MotoAmerica's Superstock 1000 class. He wrapped up the 2014 AMA Pro Racing season in third overall with a win and a third-place finish in New Jersey. He scored three wins in 2014 in the Daytona SportBike class.
Kyle Wyman has been traveling lately attending the NY Motorcycle Show with Yamaha Champions Riding School. He raced the 2014 motorcycle road racing season in two classes, in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike on a Yamaha YZF-R6 and the Vance & Hines XR1200 on a Harley-Davidson XR1200. His results included a ninth overall in the Daytona SportBike class with six top ten finishes. In the Harley-Davidson XR1200 class he finished 5th overall with two wins and four podiums.
