The annual Bercy Supercross is coming this weekend in...not Bercy. The race moves to a new location in Lillie, France, because the regular stadium is undergoing renovations. Regardless, you can expect the usual fare: crazy opening ceremonies, tight racing, and an unbeatable atmosphere.
This year, Americans like Justin Barcia, Eli Tomac, Justin Brayton, Weston Peick, Malcolm Stewart, and Josh Hill will compete, along with French stars like Christophe Pourcel, Jordi Tixier, Dylan Ferrandis, and Romain Febvre. Which riders will add their name to the list of greats?
Here's our annual run down of past stats from the granddaddy of the Euro SX scene.

All-Time Main Event Wins
Like we do each year, we're going to teach some French. You didn't forget any of it, did you? We have the all-time Bercy main-event wins list below. This list includes both 250/450 and 125/250 races, and the event runs several per weekend. As you can see, David Vuillemin is the all-time wins leader at the event. He are some other cool stats from the lists:
- An American won the first seven King of Bercy crowns before France’s Jean-Michel Bayle won in 1990.
- An American has won the King of Bercy title a record twenty-two times. France is second with seven wins.
- David Vuillemin has a record four King of Bercy titles.
- Vuillemin and Jeff Emig are tied for most Prince of Bercy titles (two).
- Vuillemin won a record three straight Bercy crowns from 1999-2001.
- An American has won the last six King of Bercy titles.
- The last non-American rider to win King of Bercy was Chad Reed in 2007.
- Only twice (Reed in 2007 and Grant Langston in 2002) has a non-American or non-French rider won King of Bercy.
- Andrew Short (2004-2005) was the last rider to go back-to-back as King of Bercy.
- This year will feature three past King of Bercy Champions: Barcia, Brayton, and Pourcel.
