South of the Border Motocross Training Complex riders had a banner week at the 37 th annual One Industries, GNC, International Motocross Finals at Oak Hill Raceway in Decatur, Texas. Despite injuries to key riders, Kyler West and Cody McCulloch, the SOBMX team scored an impressive eight top 10 finishes, five top 5s, and three overall championships.

North Carolina’s Cooper Webb led the way winning five out of six motos in the A classes, all from bad starts. Watching Webb blast through the pack of talented A riders en-route to three championships was nothing short of incredible. Matt Burkeen continued his podium run with a win in the 450B mod final to place 3rd overall and followed it up with a 5th in 450 non-pro and a 7th in Schoolboy 2.

Brandon Hartranft was 10th in 125 2 stroke and 11th in Schoolboy 2, impressive runs for only his second race on big bikes. Maksis Vilcins scored two top 15s in B class and Cody Wilkins was in the top 25 in C class.

South of the Border Motocross Training Complex is a motocross training facility located in Hamer, SC, one mile south of the North Carolina border on I95.
