BTOSports Racer X Podcast: Keith Bowen

Tuesday, February 26, 2013 | 1:30 PM

BTO Sports is your number one source for all of your motocross parts, gear, accessories and apparel. BTOSports.com is a motocross company who is truly dedicated to the sport and to the customer. Proud sponsor of your Racer X Podcasts and the BTO Sports race team.

When he was an amateur, Michigan's Keith Bowen was once hailed as the next big American motocross superstar. Although it didn't quite happen that way, this Mafia member did win some Nationals, had a factory ride, moved on to be a top privateer and then made a late career comeback.

Hear all about this and more in the BTOSports.com Racer X Podcast presented by Thor MX right HERE. If you have a smartphone, use Stitcher or the Pulpmx App to listen. Of course there's always iTunes and searching Steve Matthes on there

Nice to hear Keith go into detail and Matthes asking the right questions. Keith and Eddie will always be remembered by me as the fastest amatuers out of Michigan. Stanton had the pro career, but during the early 80's, all anybody
talked about were Keith and Eddie.

I remember when Keith signed with Yamaha. For awhile in the mid-80's he could pretty much run with anyone. Thanks for doing a podcast with him! Brings back memories.
