I have to skip Qualcomm this year. My son is layed low with a nasty bug going round, and now I'm getting it. It'll be streaming and SPEED for me, which is much appreciated.

Good thing the weather came early. It was pouring last night, with so much hail the ground was white for over an hour. It is supposed to stay dry tonight, but it's going to be frackin' cold -- in the 40s by 8pm. And that's cold for San Diego.

Anyone else noticing that todays broadcast image quality seems degraded when compared to what it's been in previous weeks? What I'm experiencing is like the difference between HD and Standard Definition? I don't see a quality choice option on the player itself?

@BermTiller: My stream quality seems worse at times too. Maybe they restrict the outgoing bandwidth for this stream to keep the cost down.

They sure seem to spend a lot of time following the odd guys, like Friese, during these streams of practice. Maybe its a sponsor thing?

It looks like there is room for more track in the stadium, but I imagine they have their reasons. Maybe they should make it a 25 lap main when the times are under 50 seconds.
