DMXS Radio Tonight: Davalos, Osborne, & Nelson
GEICO’s Zach Osborne is back from his successful globetrotting excursion in the GP’s and has earned a spot on one of the sport’s premiere teams. The gutsy ride at Phoenix while nursing an injured shoulder further shows Zach’s resolve to make the most of the opportunity. We’ve known this talented kid ever since his mini bike days and look forward to catching up with our transplanted southern brother.
There are times on Monday morning when a rider does not want to be in all the headlines for what happened on the track Saturday night. That dubious honor went to TLD’s Jessy Nelson after going down in front of the field after a kick-ass hole shot in the main at Anaheim 1. At least he wasn’t wearing really bright fluorescent gear to stand out or anything. That might have shaken some supercross rookies into a fetal position in the back of the semi, but not Jessy. He came out at Phoenix swinging and bounced back like a stud with a top 5 finish. He’s a great kid off the track too and our listeners always enjoy hearing his positive spin on life and racing.
DMXS is pleased to welcome Shades of Gray custom helmet painting on as a sponsor in 2013. I know what you’re thinking, but he had the name way before it meant something completely “different” to most women around the world, and Jason Weignadt. Joshua Gray will join us tonight to talk about some of the custom-painted lid giveaways we’re going to have this year and fill us in on his company and the services he offers. We need to bring back these pieces of moto art! Check out www.shadesofgrayonline.com to see some of his epic masterpieces.
Our trendsetting friends at Vurb Moto have dropped another killer design for their site, so look for the show’s link on the top header to listen live tonight at 8pm EST!
