Almost seems a little too relaxed. Maybe that's a good thing. Best of luck 22.

With $60 million in the bank, he can relax as much as he wants....and oh yea, hes also the boss so he can't get fired either.

I think he realizes that he's in the twilight years of his career so he wants to enjoy it more and not take things so seriously. The dual exhaust Honda really bugs me, it looks like that POS Aprillia.

If you watched this, would you agree that he should ride in the mud, instead of toolin' around on a go cart? Maybe some of you saw the epic Daytona main a few years ago with feet of water on the track??

Hey ding dong (ryanwagopoto) he's not testing Mud tires the majority of the races in supercross are not mudders, so what the hell take a break do a little carting! Chad has earned the right to do it his way. As far as being almost to relaxed? Bob Hannah use to endorse RAW method which is Relax and WIN! Good luck this Season Chad.

@ryanwagopoto--We all saw the race, and who was waxing everyone until the engine locked up?? It was Reed, I think he knows what he is doing..

Did newman963 above really just say (in his massive uneducated run-on sentence) that, "THE MAJORITY OF RACES ARE NOT MUDDERS"? Perhaps he is not aware of how the points system works and how CRITICAL EVERY point is, when contending for a title. You still have to earn points in a mudder. Reed was 4 points away in '09 from James' title. RIDE, TRAIN, AND PREPARE FOR ALL TRACK CONDITIONS!!

For the "know it all"s out there. Pretty sure he know's what he's doing. As far as acting all serious, that's dumb, what's more important is enjoying what you do and not let it consume your life, the end results will be greater.

I can safely say that I would dust CR in a shifterkart. :)

Reeds probably one of the best riders around so doesn't need to worry about that. Besides, he was testing tires that day and probably knows what works best in mud anyway, which is usually "nothing" except hang on and hope you don't fall.
