Looks like someone didn't know that KTM was bringing back the Factory Edition this year. It was just downright embarrassing seeing all the captions gloating about the top secret insides of a set of stock forks with some stickers on them, wow.
That's a stock fork with stickers on it... If you want to see what's inside it, just take any other 2013 KTM's fork and take it apart and voilà, il y aura tout!
For the real KTM factory forks, look at the pics of Musquin, Roczen, and Dungey´s bikes earlier on. The bike on the orange rollers (which is the one in this pic) though is a stock Factory Edition bike, the #001/550 is there because production of the factory editions is limited to 550 units and this is the first of those units.
You guys are totally right. I have the 2013 450 SXF and the only different between mine and this bike is graphics, holeshot device, orange frame, and fancy rear sprocket.
one thing you missed is the engine cases, the kick start boss has been removed to make the engine 1/2 pound lighter and slimer, thus the 2013 1/2 Dungey replica was needed to meet homologation ruels as per AMA, factory bikes need to be based on stock engine case. What? No pics of the new shifter? I would expect some serious depleted uranium infused hydroformed hollowcore titanium with a special blade on the leading edge to slice through the repeater banners and tuffblocks. Tell me that the airshift fad is over!
