Troy Adamitis, Inside the Outdoors Director, Interview
Wednesday, November 21, 2012 | 1:45 PMFor years now the talented Troy Adamitis has been giving a fresh look at our sport with his Inside the Outdoors series as well as the all the Great Outdoors videos. It was touch and go for a minute there but Troy and his roving crew of camera people managed to put together a look at the 2012 season that is different from what we've ever seen and opened some eyes all at the same time. I managed to catch Troy for a bit to talk about the season and the first two episodes that have already aired.

The last episode was kind of lame. We all know Davi Millsaps is lazy at the core, and the only reason he is not flipping burgers is his mother didn't allow him to be a worthless lazy idiot growing up. He got some money - left the person that will tell him the truth about his lazy ass - has not done shit since, and a 2nd in a blown out with injuries 450 class is the crowning jewel.
The first episode was ahh'ing. I haven't seen the second. Mad props to these guys for showing the reality for everyone outside the top five. I'll bet their getting hell for it. Industry people don't like anything but the warm and rosie stuff. Their making a living on these guys going out and risking their lives and destroying their healths. All comes back to the mighty dollar.

Screw the almighty dollar, most people ride dirtbikes cause we enjoy it. We don't get paid, we pay. Nobody pays me for my dreams, and if Hahn or Brayton wanna get out, get out. Many of us who love bikes have so stop for one reason or another, those who got paid are the lucky few; and if you want more $$$ go ask Romney for some. :)
Very dissappointing that Fuel TV was going to cancel the series. Excellent production, high quality, you can see they really have put their hearts into it. Hopefully NBC Sports or someone else will pick it up and give it the support it needs to continue. Stories has been somewhat "dark" this season, telling the story we all suspected was going on but didn't know for sure. Amazing the sport at a professional level can continue with so few riders making a living at this. That has got to be fixed or the sport will stagnate or die.

Loved both episodes!! Truly moved me to see the struggles of some of the guys just outside the top guys. I will be paying more attention and understanding them more as people. JG, thanks for your honesty, you have a good wife and I expect you to be a contender this year!
the first episode this year was the Best Ever in the series...quality work just shows...sure hope the series gets a home for next year...
The best show ever! Period. You guys are doing a heck of a job!
Still no FuelTV in Seattle. Really, really lame.
From the beginning, Inside the Outdoors is the best thing I've ever seen on TV about our sport. First rate scripting and camera work. Keep it up Troy.
@pizzacorner - Why do some people have to cut everyone down? FYI Millsaps is genuine good guy. I know one privateer he's paid at least one plane ticket for so he could get to a race, and another one who stays at his house in Ga. during the SX season. Our MX family is the best. Of course, like any family, we've got some black sheep. Get a life.
@Beenthere--Dont waste your time with puzzacorner--he is a poor sad individual who hates everything because his life is sad in his moms basement..
I loved both episodes, the show is really good and produced very well.
@rg807--just get DirectTV and start watching..
