Cannot imagine Brayton beating Eli.

Did Eli get taken out first turn?? Was he on a bicycle? How did Brayton beat him?

why is that a surprise?? brayton knows his way around a supercross track much better than he does mx

Well done Justin!

Brayton's an old arenacross guy ... no surprise that he had what it took to win. Eli will have his day. I see Pourcel was 12th. Imagine any of the top AMA guys showing up and finishing 12th? Me neither.

Brayton went 2-1 and Tomac went 1-2 so it is not like he dominated.

@pitbull

I bet if you could ride like Pourcel and collect a paycheck doing it you wouldnt "pack it in"

I believe he had his best supercross season ever on his honda

Too late!

Tomac had a little crash while leading the main on Saturday...

CP : what can we say ? We'll see how he gets in Paris and then we'll know if he'll quit or not....

Like to see who's going over for Bercy.

Why is everyone surprised that Brayton beat Tomac?? Eli isnt God.. And Tomac just started on a 450, its a different animal, especially in supercross.. Maybe Tomac should race one more year in the 250 class, then hit the 450 outdoors.. But Brayton is more experienced on the 450 than Tomac, dont forget that..

This is why RacerX is turning into a adverse vital mx, these daft message boards. Ya Pourcel DNF'd a moto, he should quit riding forever.

why should C.P. retire f-tard? Most of us love to watch him , and he's an amazing talent.

I agree, CP's bike broke down and therefore he should quit! Can't have theese riders running around have theirs bike broke down?!!

Christophe, loves Mx.. but i think his interest is elsewhere at the moment. I agree that he is a sublime talent , but that there is nothing sadder than watching talent being squandered. It insults us all as racers. Retire Cp or at leat take a season off

Pourcel can do whatever the hell he chooses. Who are we to decide what someone should or shouldn't do with their life and career? If he coasted, so what!! He isn't hurting any of us, only himself i.e.: prize money and possible future sponser ship. From the sounds of it he had a mechanical DNF, not his fault. Maybe everyone here bashing him should quit "coasting" at work, which half of you probably are doing so you can make boneheaded comments. :P

That's the great thing about sports (and life) ..... the fastest guy doesn't always win. The fastest guys (like everyone) make mistakes (or get cleaned out). Every top 5 rider sitting on the starting line should keep this in the back of their mind. Sports history is full of surprises like this.

jamesecox If he's not a great talent, why does Blake Baggett study his technique?
Prettty sure he won the east lites supercross in 2008 AND 2010. He was also 2nd to Dungey outdoors in 2009.

If you watch the race in Genoa, you can see CP's bike isn't dialed in yet. Not to mention he's riding a bike that was bought from a dealership.
