Such an incredibly talented & gifted rider. Just wished he would wear protective equipment!
I swear, it drives me NUTS to see Amateurs & Pros alike...not take advantage of today's technology, especially neck protection. One man's opinion.
Btw, I've been riding & racing since '71.
Good stuff Ryno!
Here are my novice ride tips for Glen Helen (Big Nasty) on my 94' RM 125:
1) Cut the track to get a 100 yard running start at Mt. St. Helens.
2) Down shift 3 times and paddle with your feet to get up the last ten yards.
3) Curse the world as you realize you now have to go down the hill.
4) Assume stink bug death grip on the front brake as you try and not cartwheel down the mountain.
5) Ignore the "clanging" sound that comes from the shock when you hit braking bump the size of a Volkswagon.
6) Pack up and head to Comp Edge Hillside track where you belong.
7) Tell friends how you "own" Big Nasty.
