Lebig seemed "le-small", very small (hehehe) but seriously......couldn't tell very much from the video, but, the dirt looks alot less rocky than last year, eh??!!

It seems to me that the two start "come-together" has the potential to be catastophic to those from 3rd or 4th back in the pack. I hope I am wrong, but it looks to be a low 3rd gear turn.

Lookin forward to the MEC......hmmmmm where are all the Euros? (hehehe) just kiddin' as this type of event (show) isn't their thing. Think Bercy and how many Euro Racers don't show for that either, except the French.........

Should be a good night of racing. The joker lane will be awesome to watch as the racers play out the stategy as the race transpires. WOW...having to race, and think at the same time!

Predictions are RV, Barcia, RD, Tomac, Alessi ? (is he racing) as the start will be so very important.

I am sure I am not the first to think of this but...
If they can sell this size of a stadium out for a Supercross event, which was design built for a (rectangular) football playing field. Can you imagine in your wildest dreams what a stadium designed specifically for Motocross/Supercross might look like in the wide open spaces of the (New) West.
Where is that napkin...

Hmmmmm.....@caseypons you may be on to something. Picture this, a huge stadium taylor made for building SX tracks. Build it near the epicenter of all the manufacturers, ie...Cali, AZ, NV, so it is accesible to the majority of the industry.

Then...build different track layouts for each supercross event. It happens every week, why not have it happen at the same location so the necessary infrastucture is already in place, and, the only change will be in track design.

The possibilities, for those track designers who are creative, are endless. The fans have a purpose built stadium, the sponsors have permanent displays / advertisement areas. Asterisks has a permanent medical facility. Just think of all the travel money saved by the factories, vendors, sponsors, workers. Some of these first and second years savings can be put back into the building of this stadium, and the owners of the rights to supercross can make a long term investment into THEIR SX home..........

Hmmmmmmmm............All it takes is someone with a vision who can sell it to the many deep pockets that see a future product and its house. Think Cowboy Stadium state of the art.

Hey, that's this weekend, isn't it. I too wonder how many collisions there will be where the two starts come together. What's next, a figure 8?

@endoman38 your right coming into that first turn its going to be like a yard sale Ill bet less than half make it out of the first turn.

Very stupid idea to have a split start in a race that is coming before A1, you dont want anyone to get hurt in this race. should have just started normal

Seventies racer, i don't wanna be harsh here, but did you get drunk while fishing or something? Cause in your wild dream you forgot something: the crowd, you know, the people to fill up the stadium and that actually makes the dough for feld... Do you really think the same 50 000 thousands people from one city/area will show up for 17 rounds? And then everybody else in the country is screwed, they never get to see any SX! And even if you forget about that concern, do you have any idea how many millions $ cost a stadium? Our industry can't afford that. Not to mention that the whole idea is absolutely pointless, how would it be designed, square and huge, so nobody can't see a thing? And riders would ride the same exact dirt every week? SX is already repetitive, now that would be a full on yawner of a series. No really, im really sorry if you were serieou, but that actually was one the dumbest thing i've ever seen on an mx websites, vital included. Alright no biggy, go get some sleep now buddy.

@mxjah....not asleep, I'm on the west coast time. Good points that you make. All I threw out were a few ideas, with no specifics (except possible locations).

Wasn't drunk as I don't drink anymore, but was motivated by the few words of caseypons.......hey, no harm no foul.

Hmmmm....maybe it was a flashback to the 70's kool-aid (hehehe) that overtook my imagination???!!!!!!!

@SeventiesRacer; I liked your visionary points made on the concept of purpose built stadium to accommodate our sport other than a rectangular hole and a gaggle of round peg(s) to put inside. Never stop thinking out loud. Can you imagine back in the early '70's how many times they called the (concept) of the "Superbowl of Motocross" a ridiculous idea. Thanks for your feedback...
