I voted other because the only team that is going to beat team USA is team USA. It will take some mistakes or bad luck.
They don't have euromikes "fantacy team" listed?? LOL
If somethings happens to Team USA or our riders have a "golden" day germany may win it with pride then ;-)
The weak rider for Germany is Schiffer, who didn't even enter the World Championship this year. But he was in Lierop and he did well.
I personally think outside of the USA team Snowball in hell has the best chance to win.
I am not sure but I heard Schiffer is out for the mxdn...Definitively USA has got the strongest team
I also voted other because Puerto Rico wasnt on the list and that is the only other team with Americans on it. Why would I vote for anyone else when I bleed red, white and blue? GO USA!!!!!!!
Team USA all there classes !
Is Canada gonna be there this yr? Dunno why they dont compete, they ain't bad. Wont beat the USA, but Id like to see em there.
I chose France, but it will take a phony birth certificate saying Roczen was born there.....
US have had more than the odd win given to them by the misfortune of others. Pourcel had a mousse come out of the tyre in France after passing Dungey. The French again needed a 12th place finish in GB and their rider was in 3rd going forward when his Tubliss tyre left the rim. Albertyn hit,and killed, a deer and was lucky to be alive. The list goes on. They do win off their own back but many are gifted through no fault of the rider and never remember that bit, selective memory syndrome. They also whinge when they get it handed to them like in Roggenberg when Larocco claimed the track was too fast and one line to pass, on a 500, when Malin went from 2nd from last to 4th I believe passing Emig on the way bring him literally too tears. Wake up and smell the coffee, the US is not the centre of the Universe it just has a few good riders like other countries who typically have a 20th of the population to choose from. Will be interesting on Monday and if you win, without the others being struck by lightning, I will congratulate you on a win deserved not gifted.
It will take 2 DNF's from the US for anyone else to have a chance. Although Moto 1 is the only shot I think the US has at a win Dungey over Cairoli, I think its still slim, But hey Cairoli seems to have issues(for whatever reason) at the MXdN.
But none of the teams who have 3 good riders will finish ahead of the US riders in the Moto except maybe Musquin over Baggett, and since the US has been hanging out at Lommel for the last week, I think that is a toss up between the two.
@tctwo - zits funny that you criticize the Americans for whining when they loss, but all you did was whine about how Americans are "gifted" their wins because of other teams misfortunes. You do realize that the French would have lost even if Pourcel hadn't pulled off the track? (assuming he finished in the position he was in at the time of the incident) Not to mention the only reason the French were leading in the first place was because Baggett crashed in both motos. Without a doubt, many of the posters on this website ignorantly believe that the US can't possibly loss and that simply isn't true, but to say they aren't the best country is simply ignoring the results. You don't win seven years in a row by getting lucky.
Suck it Frenchy!
The Jamaican Motocross team of course !!
@ BillC, you beat me to the punch!
I voted for Belgium, they are all pretty close to that track with significant experience there.
@ ronniebarnhardt Suck it PolkaDots !
Hell yeah!!
tHAT WAS A HOOT
I think the Ryder cup will be better than the Motocross of Nations .Possibly !

Germany all the way ... Schiffer will be strong.
NONE !!!! TEAM USA WINS 2012 EASY. No other team has a 3 rider strong as USA period. Jeff Herlings will win a moto or 2 but thats not enough to utperform USA. Cairolli and herlings win individual races and Dungey wins one but as a team USA wins.
In other words team USA wins trophy but loses individual races
Hec we can take an injured Stew on a 125 Rv2 & Mike Alessi on 450 and still win it.
thats why you race the races boys... anything could happen. And if the USA has some bad luck, i dont want to hear with a quivering lip " but someone crashed" and "he got a flat".... because that happened to other riders the last few MXDNs and you would not take that as excuses.
Remember last year... I think Herlings, Kroc, Paulin, all beat US riders. If i remember Herlings beat RV on a 350.......

@manes
Schiffer is stronger this year than last 2 years in my opinion.
Due to the "great" financial situations around the GPs here in europe he is not able to race GPs (like many other talented riders everywhere here) although he definitely has the speed!
As soon as FIM and/or Youthstream reinstate price and qualification money there will be more fun in the GPs.
Schiffer is a sand specialist and just loves Lommel. He is in great form this year having won the international ADAC Masters series in Germany, beating many top GP stars as well. Only negative is, he hurt himself in Italy 3 weeks ago (why he missed the German GP), but from all accounts he will be OK come race day.
Yes spike, it´s a pity that guys like Schiffer can´t do the GP´s because of financial restraints. Longuo is a POS.
The fact that people haven't voted Belgium with a significant margin, tells me just how badly informed the Racerxill community is. People have you forgotten where the des nations is being held this year? On the deepest sand strack in the world??? The mere fact the local Southwick boys do well well against the factory boys at that national should tell you that when it comes to sand...sand specialists do well. I personally think this is the best chance a Euro team has had since Zolder 03 (which I went to). I was seriously surprised with France's performance in England, and yes they wouldve won easily if it weren't for that mechanical. But in deep sand, the USA should be expecting a massive challenge. I just hope dedyker has it in him to come out swinging! The top individual performance will be taken by Herlings...although Im sure Dungey and Cairolli will have something to say about that...
I went Frenchie on this one. The French are all about being smooth and sand tracks reward smoothness.
OH MY GOODNESS!! Anyone see how much they want for entrance? €90 just for Sunday only?? How much does a national or supercross normally cost???
The thing is there is not another team racing against the US this year that has 3 riders that are all at the top of the sport. All 3 won a title this year by being smart instead of trying to win every race. Big mistakes by Great Britain by not bringing Dean Wilson and France by replacing Pourcel. Those would have been my picks to beat the US but now we will never know. I saw some people commenting on previous races where the US got lucky but I didn't see anyone mention when RV beat EVERYONE on a 250f. Baggett is defiantly capable of repeating that performance if he is on point. It will take very bad luck for team USA to not take home the title again.
I don't think Franc will be strong enough.
I also think nowadays all the good riders will perform well in the sand ... manufacturers spend a fortune to ship the guys across the pond to find out they can' ride sand ... I don't think so.
It will come down to motivation, having good starts and feeling well.
I say again my feeling is that Bagget is the wrong pick I think Tomac should be there and thats why Germany will upset USA
Cairoli has only lost two sand races in three seasons, one to Desalle and the other to Nagl. Nagl finished 2nd overall at Lommel in 2010 and 3rd overall 2011, while Roczen wasn't that far off Herlings last year. If they both ride to their potential and post top 3/4 race finishes the Germans might only need Schiffer to get one top 10 finish. He finished 10th in the first race in Leirop this year got a 5th place finish in the MX2 class at Lommel in 2009.
@ Langston_fan its €90 for the weekend, €70 for the Sunday. Thats $90 or £55, which is about normal for a GP.
i voted other because USA isnt going to lose unless it is to them selves, as Expeditionary Citizen wrote. i think Dungey is going to beat Cairolli in all the motos and USA is going to win as a team and in the individual event
RD1 IS THE BEST! BB1 RIGHT BEHIND!
