The Vurbmoto crew has been over in Belgium all week putting together some amazing content for next weeks Motocross of Nations. They were out at Lommel on Wednesday and caught Team Netherland's Marc de Reuver, Great Britain's Max Anstie, New Zealand's Cody Cooper and Kayne Lamont, Spain's Jose Butron, Russia's Evgeny Bobryshev, and Estonia's Tanel Leok, practicing for the upcoming MXoN. Love the sand. Unless a crap load of work is going to be done this week, the venue looks like something out of the mid 70's. Am I missing something??
Team USA wins easy followed by france and Netherlands. Jeff Herlings tho will be the star. The kid will win a moto against the 450 on a 250. Herlings has been the king of sand for 3 yrs now its time to shine
except herlings will be on a 350.....
If you think the Americans are just gonna roll over and let some punk kid beat them just because he is the "king of sand" you are sadly mistaken. Baggett can lay it down when he needs to and you know Barcia will park him if he has to. Oh, there is also this guy named Ryan Dungey who can ride a little too. I cant wait till Herlings comes to the US and get spanked by AC92.
That dude from Spain......Jose Butron #17.......looked pretty good !!
USA for the win
@ NUMBER198
Are you for real?!! Butron got lapped twice by Herlings In Lierop!!
Every year in the MXoN there is always a Herlings before it starts but there is always the superior Americans when it ends. Nuff said Boy.
Ton's of Pics of team USA on facebook, WHY IS RACERX DRAGGING THEIR FEET??? Get us Pics of the guys!!!!
ronniebarnhardt no one said that but we need to win the whole deal not beat Herlings cuz the rest of his team is not that good.
Coldenhoff hauls in the sand BillC. And if DeReuver has one good moto them boys will be a podium threat for sure. USA, Germany, Holland my picks for the podium in that order followed by GBR or Belgium. Desalle has a broken bone in his hand and Dedyker is a fader (and seeing as he only has 30 minutes rest between his first and second moto's I think big Ken will struggle in that last race) so can't see Belgium being as competitive as what some say they will be.
MXoN is quickly becoming my favorite race of the year. I wish Reed and Byrne were going. I have this nagging feeling that Baggett will be low on desire, but I hope I'm wrong. Even if that is the case, I still think we bring it home again. Es tut mir leid.
I like how everyone is saying "Its going to be hard for the American's". wtf to that. Best riders in the world, and just because its a sand track that were supposed to lose?? Our boys can ride in any situation and come out on top.
And indurance, dungey is the most physically fit rider IMO. and we all know bagget and barcia can hall ass for the 35 minutes. Euro's gunna start to peeter out at the 20m mark!
The Euros all ride like pussies for the first 15 minutes of their motos and thats why Roczen and Musquin couldnt keep up after 20 minutes at the first 8 Nationals. Baggett and Barcia will hand them Kraut eatin, cigarette smokin euros their asses for sure. And BillC, I know what the purpose of the Des Nations is, that doesnt mean I cant talk smack on here. You need to wear the next size bigger underoos cause your a little uptight.
I remember Baggett riding like a girl a last year's Des Nations. What was it he said to his mommy? "This is the most technical track I've ever ridden".
Baggett can't do nothing outside of the US.
@theped26 - we will see next weekend bud.
I'm still bummed on the track. 1 week before the biggest event of the year and the place still looks like a crappy local track. The sand is cool, but there is definitely nothing spectacular about this place.
Yeah I was expecting a little bit more out of the track myself.
