@BillC - They say Honda was lined up to put it on the 2013 CRF450R, but they wanted to keep the bike under $9,000. In my opinion, they should've ditched the second muffler and gone with the hydraulic clutch instead. Maybe they feel that following someone else's lead is like admitting you made a mistake. You know what they say about too much pride...
I agree about the clutch. EVERY race team except the factory is going to ditch this PIA dual muffler gimmic and run a single set up. we have witnessed this before with the 250f. Should have went with the clutch Honda - considering how crap the 2009-2012 clutches are.
They did add the clutch spring they took out on the 2009-2012 450cc so problem solved dinosaur guy.. The dual muffler really makes no sence to me? Like they say the exhaust was what was hindering the power on the 09-12 but if your fast your buying aftermarket anyways? Extra muffler that I'm gonna make a single anyways? Bring on the hydraulic clutch? :)
