i doubt a stupid soundtrack was playing at the rcu - great to see ricky and stanton - emig looked gay as usual but really gay with the headset on - great vid
@timi - You bag on the soundtrack, call one of the sport's icons "gay" and then seal the deal with "Great vid"????? Yeah, the music kind of sucked, but you should be thankful that Racer X even posts these videos....deal with it! The fact that you focused on the music shows how infantile you are. Secondly, saying stupid remarks about Jeff Emig on a public post is even further evidence of how low your lQ level is. Emig is an icon of the sport and shouldn't be disrespected like that. Listen kid...put the Nintendo Wii controller down, eat the grilled cheese your mom made for you and get ready for bed. It's late!
WOW. Anyone wanna add up the championships those instructors represent?
I've got 35 off the top of my head. 35ish?
Great deal they do!!!
chainlube that was funny!
I was there for hours and the vibe all over the track was positively inspiring. The time and emotional/instructional commitment that each of the instructors put in with each of the groups and ALL of the students was phenomenal.
These legends of our sport were approachable, completely hands-on, and passionate about the students, the families, and the skills they were delighted to pass on to the next generation of riders, racers, and perhaps, champions.
RC, you and your entire staff and support crew must be commended. I didn't see one face that didn't exude enthusiasm, energy, and genuine love.
My takeaway was that anyone that has the blessed good fortune to attend an RCU event will never forget it. Ever.
I've been around this sport a long, long time. Trust me on this one. Make it a priority, As always, I'm reminded that riders and racers are just really good people.
On a personal note, to my longtime friends who served as instructors, I don't know if I've ever been more proud of you, your friendship and who you have become. And that covers many historic careers, a ton of wins and a lot of World Championships.
Thanks guys!
