Phil Nicoletti
Somebody vote for Wil Hahn. Thats just sad.
Phil Nicoletti, stock 450 and a 6th at Steel City.
Bobby Kiniry, This guy took 2nd in the championship in Canada and was racing double weekends both in Canada and the US at the same time ! Someone give this kid a ride, he deserves it !!
Why no Blake Baggett on there? Sure he did well last year but after the 2012 Supercross season I don't think most people had any expectation of the dominating speed he proved this outdoor season. His come from behind wins when other series contenders got holeshots were legendary. Eli put together a couple of similar rides (though not as many nor spectacular) but he already proved dominating speed in Supercross this year.
I liked Baggett at the beginning of the year but after this season I am a fan for life. I hope his insane speed sticks along with his poor starts and "warm-up period" because that combination makes for awesome racing.
Also, I'm sure I will get some flack about this but looking at the reverse side... whose stock tanked the most after the outdoor season... it could be Barcia. Okay, maybe not the most, but him getting the holeshot and then getting run down by Baggett (along with other riders at times) on numerous occasions were not expected. After his hissy fits in Supercross he did do a good job at holding composure during those defeats but 'bam bam' got schooled this summer.
I can't believe you don't have Izzi on there.
Phil Nicoletti
Filthy Phil.
Why would anyone vote for Alessi? He has no stock to rise. Do you actually think a factory team might want him now?
both Alessi and Tomac have rides next year...why are they on the list? They both rode as they were expected to...I agree Nicoletti and Izzy probably should have been on this list but my vote for those that are on it is for Tickle..first year riding 450's and showed consistent speed and improvement throughout the seaon...way to go Broc!
Broc came in second for me -- When thinking in a stock price mindset you have to keep the trend in mind --- Broc stock had been on the rise and plateaued as he moved to 450 and everyone was unsure how he would do.
Alessi -- who got my vote -- his stock was in a free-fall and he was able to turn that around and take it to all-time highs.
I voted for Tomac but after thinking about it more I say Alessi. The only guy to challenge Dungey all year, on a privateer team too!! If youre a big time team are you gonna sign Tickle or Alessi? How many times did Alessi beat Tickle? Alot. What about Factory Honda Brayton or Alessi? Stupid question really. Factory Kawasaki Rattray or Alessi? Another stupid question. Out of all the proven 450 riders, he has to be mentioned with Reed, Villapoto, Dungey and Canard as the top five. Yes I forgot to mention Stewart but really, should I have? When was the last time Stewart finished a series in the top 5?
Send Tony to Europe with Jeff and make sure he can't find his US Passport from A1 to the last Outdoor round, and I guarantee Mike would get a factory ride.
Tickle did much better than I expected him to do. Stoked on that, he seems like a good dude.
Jessy Nelson really impressed me with his consistancy. He was up front every weekend witch is hard to do as a rookie. Bell and Martin had some speed but never put any results together. Nelson will be a factor next year.
I voted for Mike thinking it was a no brainer. I like the fact the Mike did not quit or give up. I feel after this year he has proven himself a contender and I applaud him for that.
Yamalink that is very true and its sad too. How much money is Alessi losing out on by not get a factory ride? And for what, cause his dad is an egomaniac and control freak.
I voted Alessi because he sucked last year and did pretty damn good this year. This is a good list though, as everyone on it raised their stock, except I think Tomac did what I expected him too. His stock was already pretty high heading into 2012.
No Brainer... Alessi. What a fantastic year for him, his wife and his team. And Sportsman of the Year Award, tells it all. Just goes to show what determination and hard work does. And the fact he never gives up. I applaud all the racers that lined up this season. Its a difficult sport with to many injuries, so for the ones that made it, Congrats ! The ones that were injured, heal up and see you next year !!
chopper thats my dogs name I guess you must be bald and faster than Barcia

Seriously.....Filthy Phil! No one ever gives that kid a shot. And Izzi should be there too. This poll sucks racer x. I am embarrassed about your ignorance. Half the people on this list are making 6 figures already. Raise their stock to what...Microsoft.....Apple?
Kiniry was riding for Valli in SX and the nationals he rode in the states. Impressive season for him too!
all you morons are complaining about IZZi not being on the list. why dont you read the list first. He is the fourth one down.
What about that Cole Thompson kid? Dude showed Top 5 speed.....cmon !!!
Why vote for Alessi? He cant beat Dungey or any other championship rider. So what if he gets a holeshot,he cant race with anybody longer than a corner or two!He throws in a couple of brake checks,a lame block move, and then he will just move over and let you by.He doesnt straight up race, dice, bang bars with anybody. It just doesnt seem that he has alot of heart to me.
it's easy to sit here and rag on alessi but he kicked everyone's ass this summer, minus dungey. so unless you are ryan dungey then shut up! who cares if his dad's a dick or not this is dirtbike racing not politics
I voted for Jessy Nelson.he was about as solid as you can get for a rookie..Especially,since I dont think he was even planning on racing the natls this year until Cole Seely was injured.
Also think that Jake Canada and Jason Anderson both did really well also.I think any one of these three would be a good pick for the last spot on ProCircuit next year.
ALESSi for sure. he schooled factory boys this summer. They should have given him JS7 bike after he got hurt and who knows may be just may be he would finish closer to RD. Anyways he won a moto aginst factory bikes so that shuts up all critics. Izzi is good but crashed on blue just like js, TICKLe is alright but damn he should have done better on a PC bike. PC is as closer or equal to factory as u can get. MXON Barcia is good on sand but I have to say this JEff Herlings is gonna school everyone on that 250 bike. I say he wins 2 motos including against 450. If u dont beleive just watch GP of netherlands. Dude lapped the field. Herlings is BEST sand rider on earth.
@Johnson357. I've got a full head of hair along with every male in my family and I might be faster than Barcia at a quiz bowl but definitely not on a motocross track. I wasn't trying to attack Barcia. The kid has undeniable talent on a motorcycle and hates to lose. That makes for great racing and even though I wouldn't go spend crazy at the bambam merch tent, I love having the guy line up on the gate.
I voted for Tickle, first year on a big bike and he rode much better than I thought he would. He was very close to 3rd in points and If not for a few mechanicals he might have gotten it. Alessi had a great summer, but thats what we have always expected from him. I see some comments about Alessi and factory rides. Unfortunately I do not think a lot of teams wants the package deal that comes along with Mike. (Tony)
Broc, 1st yr on 450, hard worker, likeable, doesnt quit, has no excuses.
Great more foreigners talking about herlings in the sand. Can we run the races first? Anx im sorry, Alessi did nothing he shouldnt have done this year. Put RV REED STEWART back full time and Alessi drops to 5-10 place rider. Maybe thats why factories dont want him. Hes getting old. Every year his stock is running out
Phil Nicoletti I would for sure get this kid on a program! He is a sure bet!
Agree with jmantattoo! If all the riders are in the series,Alessi maybe gets in the top 5 once or twice.I actually like the guy. But,hes not a fighter. His head is on a swivel whenever someone is close to him.Always trying to figure out how to keep someone behind him rather than looking forward and riding his own race.
Personally, I think Filthy Phil and Broc Tickle have seen the sharpest rise. Nicoletti, however, should receive some type of special Bad Luck of the Year award. The only thing that didn't happen to him in 2012 was for him to catch on fire during a race.
Also, I agree that Mike Alessi had a terrific season. The best thing that could possibly happen for Mike's career is for Tony to go get a real job.
BROC T
SUCKED BUT LAST YEAR
WOULD HAVE GOT 3RD IF WASNT FOR BIKE PROBLEMS
Phil Nicoletti, a better bike with a lot more endurance/no injuries too and he's the real deal top 5 outdoors
