does the winner get to hold the 30-second board up when the men line up to race?

if so it's kinda a toss up between Ashley and Tara.. I think Fiolek is probably cuter but i bet Tara can do a sexier "wiggle" when she holds that board up

if Patterson wins maybe she can do some announcing for the guys

Hey spotted marley.....any of these women could stomp your hillbilly butt all over the track.

Grow up little boy, and learn some respect.

SpottedMarley wrote: 4:31pm August 13, 2012

Hey Sevnties douchebag ... in your longest gayest wet dreams you're still only wishing that were true.

Don't kid yourself grampa, these girls are fast .. for girls, but thye wouldnt last 15 minutes in the B class at my track. Not 15 minutes and not 15 seconds.

Come line up at Dade City sometime and quit imagining that I'm as slow as you are

Profile Picture
SeventiesRacer wrote: 4:48pm August 13, 2012

The 3 women named in the survey would most assuredly stomp your "B" class. You're saying that the local "B" class at Dade City could run consistent lap times, on a national calibre track, after the 250's and 450's have chewed it all to hell, that are 10-15 seconds slower than 20-30th place National class for 20 minutes. A bit of exageration to be sure. Speak factually little boy.

OK tough guy......maybe "you" can race at a decent pace, BUT, it gives you no right to bad mouth the fast women, so the last sentence still applies.

Yeah calling them hot babes isn't showing them respect, they are racers, would you say the same thing about a male racer just saying! And my question is why would JP$ not be worthy to be anything but an announcer they are all equal correct? These ladies are trying to prove to people that they are more than pretty faces with hot bodies or eye candy! They are actually more receptive to fans than many of their male counterparts and are very intellectual and talented racers on and off the track! And they are all trying to get the respect that they deserve as women and not sexual objects!!!!

Seventies... have you been to a national? Have you watched these "professional" women motocrossers actually race? It's practically cruel because it ends up being a sort of comedic relief. They are more comparable to the C class in men's amateur racing. In the C class there are a handful of racers who are sandbagging and jumping everything on the track, these are your fioleks and pattersons. they belong in B. the rest of the field can barely keep it on two wheels in a rutted corner.

The only reason there exists such a ridiculous oxymoron as "women's professional motocross" is because every greedy manufacturer of motocross related products wants WOMEN CUSTOMERS. motocross is not a sport for the weak. it's like watching crippled wrestling. It's a perverse sideshow at best.

Women aren't motocross athletes at the professional level. They just aren't. That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them. There are differences between men and women, get used to it.

Marley, you really are a loser. I was at the Wick, and those women were absolutely hauling on an incredibly nasty rough track. I wish they were racing Dilla too, the more racing the better.

Marley, when was the last time you actually raced a fast women? Tarah Gieger would race the A class at local tracks. Maybe you need to reevaluate yourself saying that you can beat all of them.

Bad Billy, that one kind of shocked me when I saw TG posing for TWX, but she is from the Island and an avid surfer, but I think you missed her point! Some of the trophy models, not all, don't race TG3 and SW12 were also proving a point that women are very versatile because they actually know how to race and still have a feminine side! And when she did the shoot TG3 didn't look too excited to be doing it! Then again you could always ask her yourself on her FB page why she did the shoot! The question is did you respect her as a racer or because you saw her in a bikini! Myself I was a little let down, because these ladies are all trying to fighting to be treated as equals to the fellas! People still have no clue that Women race professionally and women have been racing since the 70's in the U.S. and it took AF1 to really catch people's attention to give women more of a chance!!!!

Spotted marley, I have raced and watched for over 30 years and these girls rock. I would bet a lot you would get your smelly butt handed to you by them and easily. You are just yapping like a puppy because you can't make it to the pros. They are incredible and I have always enjoyed watching them. Of course they are not as fast as the guys but they give it their all. I hope they never take them out of the nationals as they are only getting better.
I am pissed that JP gets a bad rap because some classless jerks on here comment on her looks. She is a great person and true competitor that is at the top of all the woman in the world and is better looking than any of you jerks that trash her.

Right index finger up your nose....left hand holding your loose, baggy pants up....red checkered shirt half untucked.....dalmation humping your leg. That is the image you project with your typed words about the professional women of our sport. Shame onto you Hillbilly Marley........

SeventiesAidsPatient, if you quit smoking crystal meth and masturbating in public you could use the extra time to get a late, really late, start on a general education. Just imagine all the exciting new concepts you'll be able to comprehend, you may eventually even begin to develop a personality of your own *gasp* which would open up the door to saying things that you actually thought of yourself! That's right old man, you don't have to get all of your knowledge, opinions, morals, values and sexual pleasure from your tv or internet connection anymore!.. oh.. well i guess you do have to quit smokin rock and yankin yer doodle while parked in front of elementary schools. First things first ya know! Get to it. I believe in you

I have had the pleasure of watching the women race on many occasions. I am always impressed by the speed of the top contenders. It's too bad there are some people who don't understand the nature of the motocross community, a community based on mutual respect for other racers. It's a family. A family of which you are clearly not a part, @SpottedMarley.

The dedication shown by the WMX racers is typified by Ashley Fiolek's 7th place finish to win the championship at Steel City in 2009. Although she crashed and badly broke her collarbone, she soldiered on and won the title. The look of agony on her face when she took off her helmet told the story of how dedicated she is to the sport. Something I'm willing to bet a sniveling child like you couldn't have accomplished @SpottedMarley.

In addition, most of these women are class acts. I was at Pala last year when Ashley won the title again. A little girl (maybe 8 or 10) was at the podium looking at Ashley with clear hero worship in her eyes. So, Ashley gave her her trophy! When the little girl tried to protest by saying "No! No! It's YOURS!", Ashley replied "It's okay, I'll get more." Class and character. Something you'd know nothing about @SpottedMarley.

Profile Picture
SpottedMarley wrote: 3:18pm August 14, 2012

mgwest.. i can skate too, i don't compete in it but i'm decent enough that your attempt at an idiotic jab falls pretty flat. i also wakeboard, snowboard and compete regularly in downhill and dirt jump competitions on non-motorized bikes (norcal in two weeks), i race moto typically only once or twice a month but i ride closer to 3 or 4 times a week. i could contest the A class here locally if it made a difference, but it doesn't and i'm 30+ so i stick to Vet B and Collegeboy mostly. This is MY sport, you didn't misunderstand that part. If there's anything wrong with the sport today it's from people like you and your gay pal SeventiesNobody, just buying the bullshit that racerx and transworld are shoving down your pie hole day after day. If you were half as smart as your stupid, you'd know what I mean.

Here's a thought. If you are 30+ and haven't learned enough of life's lessons to not come on here bad-mouthing the WMX and spewing your idiocy, why don't you go troll a skateboard, wakeboard, snowboard, downhill and dirt jump site. You clearly don't belong here. This is NOT your sport. You are an intruder. If there is anything wrong with this sport, it is the slow decay of respect for fellow competitors personified by vile little creatures like you. Move on, punk. This sport is not for the likes of you.

Hmmmm......AF averages in moto 2 at Southwick a 2:21, and Mookie, who finished 7th in moto 2 at Southwick averaged 2:10:90. About an 11 second per lap difference.

Even in your dreams Dalmation lover, you could not hang with the top 5 ladies in Pro Motocross.

The lap times prove your assinine statements are as irrelevent as you are spotted hemeroid. Your Dade City boys know you as the trouser dart you are. Now you have proved to all on the site, the same.

You are a loser!

Come on Dade City MXers........Make a video with your spokes dip-shit about how the "B" racers can beat the top 5 ladies of Pro MX, "OR" post something that says your punk boy, dalmation boy, doesn't know what he is talking about.

What do you say Dade City MXers????????

So Mr. Spottedmarley, how do you race the collegeboy class at 30+, and do they not have a vet A class where you race? You say you could contend the A class locally, "if it mattered." Why doesn't it matter? Because you are not truly a racer? Is it because you would rather spend 50 dollars to win a 3 dollar 1st place trophy in the B class? If what you say is true, then this really isn't "your" sport. You sir are everything that has become wrong with "our" sport. True racers from the C class on up believe that every race, no matter what cow pasture in some obscure corner of this country, matters. It matters to them. RC had the ultimate carreer, and I believe he's doing just fine, so why on earth would he go back and race LL? Should it matter? They should have a special event once a year just for guys like you, you could get to go out on the track all by yourself, race 5 laps, and go home with a first place trophy. You could have the satisfaction of everyone looking at you, and you get to tell everyone you won a race, with the trophy to prove it.

DADE CITY....ugh...just the fact this night racing hamster wheel ( what is a pro lap time there on the night track ? 30 seconds ? )... is getting this much PR is driving me nuts nevermind they " yoho " no pun intended Randy ( owner of Dade )...claiming the local B class of Dade would wax the top three WMX pro's...the last time I rode Dade , it was a round of their big night series, the cup series or whatever ....I placed 5th in +25 ( age 37 ) behind the likes of Vince , and a handful of typical vet pro Fl boys ....anyway , that being said ,I have ridden with all three of the top 3 WMX ladies....don't kid yourself, they are smooth and FAST...I'd bet all my money they would probably lap u at 338 in a 20 minute moto....
