Yes ain't it just great the rougher the track the worse the Americans will beat them. There is not one Europeanj rider that can go flat out for 30 plus 2, not one.

Where's your evidence that the rougher the track, the faster the Americans will go? All the European teams are based around this track and most rider train there during the week. Don't underestimate Herlings and Cairoli around there.

Baggett sure didn't go flat out for 30 plus 2 at last years MXoN's, Dungey got beat by Roczen on a 250F and Herlings beat Villipoto when Jeffrey's bike was stuck in 3rd gear.

@theped26.....ya, OK, what you say is true enough, BUT, you site only individual results, and not a team result. USA finished 1st place, nuff said.

No EuroTeam has the speed, depth, and stamina of Team USA, so your above comments have no relevence.

Lets see......Team USA has how many wins, since 1973??? 23, I think but don't know for sure, lost count.

MXdN at Lommel 2012, will be another in the continuos string of dominance the US MX "Nationals" puts on the Euro "World Championship" racers.

Hmmmmmm..........Stefan Everts, and Cairoli knew where NOT to race as they dominated the second string Euro racers.

Not much you can say that will be factual, or relevent, is there?

those individual performances from Herlings, Roczen and Cairolli don't mean a whole lot theped26......it's pretty easy to let it all hang out and go for moto wins at MXoN when you know your team doesn't have a hope in hell of winning. The Americans often have to swallow their pride and let others ride off to victory rather than push for the win and maybe crash trying......costing your team the win! There is a lot of pressure on them that other nations don't have because they're expected to win.

I say this as a casual observer and a non-American.

We won the MXoN? Wow take one power nap and you sure miss lots!

There is an i in team, you can clearly see it in the a-hole!!

As it has been stated before the other countries send their best riders, while the USA sends the best riders that are still able to ride. Some even call them the B team, yet with the depth of talent riding on American soil the C or D team could also get the job done. Don't hate us because we are fast, spend some time to find a better reason.

Hey, the ped, thanks for the link, but I don't see any difference between Lommel and Southwick except there are more man-made humps at Lommel....and they smooth the entire start straight and first turn for each start. The rest of the track looks no rougher than Southwick but someone always wants to make some sort of Euro vs. USA argument that doesn't hold true. All anyone needs to look at is Roczen and Musquin struggling to lead motos here, let alone win them. I heard all kinds of talk about them sweeping 1-2 in the 250's this year......

One of the first lessons most people recieve in dirt bike racing is humility.
some of you just proved to us that the only thing you race is your mouse, or your couch.
I'd wager DeCoster's not going in to this event underestimating his competition.
Also agree with Emig's observation regarding Southwick was much rougher "back in the day".
