MSR Riders Prevail at Loretta's
August 10, 2012 12:55pm
Corona, Ca - This year’s Loretta Lynn Amateur National was once again an extremely hot and tough race. Our Wrekless Youth riders toughed the elements and came away with some great finishes. Cooper Webb came into the event as the favorite to win the B classes and that he did. After some intense battles in both classes he came away with a Championship and a 2nd place overall. A big congratulation goes out to Mini Coop! In the very stacked A class, Joey Savatgy had some great rides in both the 250 and 450 class. He came away with a 3rd overall in the lites class. In the 450 class he was involved in a first turn pile up in the first moto where he ended up 9th. This obviously fired him up and he came back and dominated the second and third motos to finish up on the podium in 3rd. Good luck to Joey as he now will focus on his pro career starting next season. A big shout out to Jeremy Martin who unfortunately hurt his shoulder a couple weeks before Loretta’s, as he will now focus on the last few pro nationals.
MSR would also like to congratulate Chase Sexton who put in some great rides and brought home a moto win in the very competitive Mini Sr (12-14) class. Andrew Pierce had some great rides in the Supermini class before he ran into some problems the last two motos. These weren’t the only riders who threw down at the ranch as we would also like to thank the following riders; Darian Sanayei, Jeremy Hand, Sam Landry, Aaron Plessinger and Dean Spangler.
Look for our Wrekless Youth riders at the upcoming Monster Cup, Dodge, and Mini O’s Amateur Nationals.
