and 30-Minute Video Seminars at Loretta Lynn's
Morgantown, W.Va.- MX Sports is proud to announce the return of GoPro, the world's most versatile camera, as the official sports camera of the 2012 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL-taking place Sunday, July 29 through Saturday, August 4, 2012. In addition to their presence at the event, GoPro is increasing their hands-on activation all week long with new editing stations and "how-to" video seminars.
GoPro will be set up in the pits with four editing stations, where riders will be able to utilize Mac computers running GoPro CineForm Studio software. These stations will be available to upload the riders' favorite moments from the National to YouTube, with a chance to win the GoPro Loretta Lynn's 2012 Video Contest. The contest will run from July 30 to August 20, 2012 and the winner receives an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the final round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross tour at Lake Elsinore on September 8.
On Tuesday evening GoPro will hold two 30-minute "How to GoPro in 30 minutes" video seminars in the Amsoil Arena beginning at 8 p.m. The seminars will be instructional forums to educate riders on how to utilize GoPro cameras-including mounting pointers, editing tools and how to use social media to increase exposure.
"The entire GoPro team is stoked to educate its fans and riders, and to show them GoPro's best tips and tricks to get their awesome footage out to the world!" said Justin Fierro, GoPro Sports Marking Director, 2-wheel.
The GoPro production team will be onsite outfitting and assisting the riders, just like they do for the pros! So be sure to bring your GoPro cameras and if you don't have one yet, you will be able to purchase products at the track.
