Two Things:
1) The Broadcast Media Scheduling was (surprisingly enough) incorrect once again. Excuse me for my frustration, but as I packed up on Friday to leave for the 5:00am departure on Saturday to attend the US National at my local track, I had left comments in the ( about
Whoops TBC
about (How to Watch Washougal) and said is there any scheduling changes before I set my DVR and go away for 24-36 hours. No reply...Dung Happens!
I was able to reprogram my DVR when I got home for 8:00PM (not AM) and I just finished re-watching both 450 and 250 Moto's just now. Life goes on...
2) Why do I find it just a little dissatisfying that the most exciting 2nd 250 Moto run this season (so far) that some program director with little to no influence from those individuals of influence allowed NBCSN to breakaway for a "Two Minute Commercial" with two laps left and completely miss the end of the race (as it were) between the just passed Barcia after he tried to (unsuccessfully but not surprisingly) take out Baggett on a repass. After the commercial break you see Baggett cross the finish line, Baricia is 20 or so seconds behind. What in the Hell is Comcast/NBCSN thinking. And (I would certainly hope) the highly influential Management at RacerX would be up in arms with this bit of sacrilegious regard for the representation of the (our) sport, that which is Motocross!!!
That said; I just paused the DVR after Baggett and Barcia took the Checkers.
So, now I can precede calmly back to my remote and watch the post race trophy presentations, and wonder what were the producers thinking, and may someone of influence keep this discredit from recurring for a very long time, if not forever.
Sorry for the rant...
PS When I calm down, I can express my thanks for everything else that was done beautifully. Not exactly in the order your Dale Carnegie approach to winning friends and influencing people would make their case, but I am tired and disappointed with this inadequate representation of media coverage and production.
Once again, my bad!
PS Jason, your above review of the weekend was superb...
Now, this is a model for NBC to reference as Motocross 101.0

@caseypons - have to agree with your comment regarding Jason's review of the weekend in Washougal. He really has developed great skills in this area. Not just in these clips but also during his TV commentary's.
