Millville Statistical Report
Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship
Series Statistical Report
Bob's Cycle Supply Spring Creek National
Spring Creek MX Park - Millville, Minn. - July 14
- Spring Creek has hosted a Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National since 1983. It boasts several of the most iconic obstacles in the sport, including the "Holy Schmit" jump named for late local legend Donny Schmit, and the sand whoops. The track also has the longest start straight on the schedule.
- The city of Millville has a population of about 200. On Saturday, that population will grow by at least 50 times that number when thousands of die hard motocross fans pour into the town.
- Hometown hero Ryan Dungey has won the last four years at Spring Creek - twice in both the 250 and 450 classes.
- Spring Creek is Millville native Alex Martin's back yard, as his parents John and Great own the facility.
- Ryan Dungey is enjoying a four-round overall winning streak and has also taken the checkered flag in the last eight motos.
- Every 450 Class victory in 2012 has been achieved by sweeping both motos.
- Ryan Dungey has won 32 of the 60 motos he's entered in his 450 Class career (53%), claiming the overall in 18 of 30 races (60%).
- Through his first 30 career 450 Class races, Ricky Carmichael captured 22 overall victories. Ryan Dungey has claimed 18 wins in his first 30 starts and already sits in a tie for fourth on the all-time wins list.
- Carmichael also earned 1,325 career points through the first 30 races of his 450 Class career, while Dungey has amassed 1,343 over that same span.
- Dungey is the only rider in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship to finish on the podium in every moto. His worst result was third in the first moto of the season.
- Mike Alessi has finished on the overall podium in four of the first six races and currently sits second on the championship as a privateer.
- With eight career wins, Blake Baggett has more victories that any other active rider in the 250 Class. That's tied for 14th on the all-time wins list.
- Despite having the most wins in the 250 Class with three, Baggett is only third in laps led.
- Ken Roczen failed to finish on the overall podium for the first time on U.S. soil last weekend.
- Jake Weimer leads all competitors in passing an average of 6.6 riders a moto. Eli Tomac and Wil Hahn top the 250 Class at 6.3 passes per moto, each.
