I was there in '86 Amaheim.But....the Atlanta race gets my nod for best race ever for close racing.Peace

I would go for Atlanta race myself

I think the Atlanta one was best because it had 6 or 7 different leaders and a bunch of lead changes.Anahein was the best one on one battle but Atlanta was a whole different animal.

My vote is for Atlanta, best supercross ever. I was at neither, but watched both on video. Cooper did tell me a great story about the race, involved one line whoops, a shovel and Decoster...it changed the race out come..RacerX should get him to tell it some day..

OOPs!!! My old mind and memory failed me, good thing for the Vault! The race Cooper told me about was the 87 LA Colosseum, where RJ comes from the back to pass Guy for the win.. I made a mistake..still a great story!!!!
