Torrance, CA: American Honda recently featured Seven-time Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath in a video about the all-new 2013 CRF450R. McGrath discusses the latest technology found on the new bike, including the all-new chassis that focuses on mass centralization, Pneumatic Spring Fork (PSF®), dual-muffler exhaust system, and much more.

What's up with the horrible video quality? The website definitely is not iPad friendly anymore.
Dear Honda. Please get rid of the stupid dual muffler, and move the header back to the right side.
I agree with the video quality vrtstinger wrote......in fact I have said it before that this will be the last video I watch on racerxonline.....it's horrible!!!!!!!!!.......this is the ONLY website that has horrible video quality on my iPad !

only in this day and age of technology would people complain about a video quality of a new bike. The bike looks awesome, and if it does as good a Mcgrath says it does. It will be revolotionary. look at the bike not the vidoe quality. Im old school , we didn't have this when I started riding, so I could careless about how good the video quality is.
I am old school too bro!....I didn't have this when I was riding nor the Internet!....I am just saying for some reason racer x video quality has been beyond horrible !
Was that a white KTM? Hate the white color.Ugliest front fender ever.
Don't blame RacerX for the video quality, it was bad on my computer too. I think it's just the video, unless Jeremy is supposed to be green like that. And luckily you won't have to run your forks at 50PSI, the highest I have seen it is around 36PSI I think it was.
What I meant was its not the video, it's the formatt being used which is practically unwatchable for an iPad. I have a new iPad with the retna display which is incrediable but for some reason the site is not does not work well with it. Hopefully they fix it.
Video was fine on my Lap Top. WAH! I ran air-forks back in the day two, they sucked. New seals every race. It just got old replacing them all the time. went thru gallons of PJ1. Hope the seals are made of UNOBTAINIUM and last a few hours instead of minutes. 86 the stupid exhaust set-up. Why jack up the after market pipe another frigging 1000.00 bucks. ENOUGH. The front fender does look like a camel hump fender. strange. Oh Well.
I like the bike. Later. YOUNGZY 33
you have the greatest SX rider of all time, and the most-technical thing he talks about is how "futuristic" the bike looks? this is a PR slow-pitch softball from Honda, and unfortunately MC is just a pitch man. no tech analysis, no details about WHY the changes are better than the previous bike... kinda sad, MC.
This stuff always cracks me up. When MC was at KTM for a short stint, the bike was "amazing" and 2 seconds a lap faster than his previous bike.
JS7 loved the latest generation YZF in the beginning, and said "we have something special"........yeah that turned out good didnt it.
Wait for the tests to come out!, and race results..... We will see.
looks awesome though...
quick complaining about video quality....
ANYWAY, i agree with ungrata, MC said "it's a good place to start" meaning you still have a lot to do to get it to compete with Suzuki, Kawi, and KTM. Yamaha's are way out of the ballpark. I'm sure reed will make it work though.
matrixx29 to think that suzuki kawi and most of ktm are above honda or yamaha and im not even a fan of yamaha is uneducated. All of these bikes are so close that, it honestly is completely personal preference, one bike could have 1 more hp than other, big deal. I think this will be a great bike but then again, if your fast your fast doesnt matter if its red or green. The only time that issue will come up is when you going as fast as possible and your at the highest level in the sport, if not, dont blame the bike, go work on your cornering, clutch work etc and save your money.
The dual mufflers look amazing. They dont add much more weight if any because they opted for 2 smaller mufflers!
Jeremy, No disrespect intended, but you said that the previous generation CRF was as good as your 93, which either makes you the best rider to ever swing a leg over a bike if your 93 was that..."quirky", or maybe it was a bit of a fib. You may have lost some credibility with the homers like me on that front. That being said, I hope your sweetie is doing well and you are making progress on whittling down the bone marrow waiting list. I am 100% behind you on that one.
Looks sweet but it would be my 3rd choice behind green or yellow in the 450's. Now a pipe and tips gonna cost you $2000 sheeesh
