Pretty nice tip. Can't say I've done this too much, but will definitely give it a shot next practice.
Do you guys have some contract with this goon? Did he beat you up when you were racing or something?
really great vid. i have a question on when the breaking is getting done and did Ryno downshift in the air?
Plus, your lower body - your feet and ankles especially - are your greatest source of balance (direct connection to your Vestibular System), and have the greatest sensitivity to correct balance, more so then any other area in your body (especially your upper body). Your lower body is also great at supporting your body weight. Your upper body is not (this is a HUGE source of arm pump for many riders). And your legs have WAY more strength and power to manipulate and power the bike around then your upper body does. Great advice!
Hey all even though I cant hear anymore, I though it was a really good vidio! Now yes sometime it helps to upshif when you come into a corner. Also most amatures dont think about upshifting when your back wheel is of the ground and rev it. thea gives you more momention. I other words ya go faster. Then when you get good going faster is not alway about twisting the throttle Ya gotta think!
Maybe Mr MX can explain better. The old? 125 2 strokes ya had to keep the RPM up and I think that is the same with these high strung 250 4 popppers. I liked wathing the vid, but ya cannot alway do it like that in a race we can try though. Ya gotta do it perfect every turn and lap.
@ JayKing.... yes and you can also land with both brakes on...... Sometime it help to upshift coming into the corner after you downshift.
I like this stuff. I watched it a few times to see if I missed anything. Like mxpunker blowing past Ryan Hughes. Did anyone catch that part? Good luck even keeping Ryan in sight for a 1/4 lap punker...
@yzpilot62 Yes, I think I saw mxpunker in the video! He was the one sitting in a lawn chair eating Twinkies. I wish I was a good enough rider to bag on the pros too!
