Lucas Oil Motocross Industry Bonus Awards
Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Industry Bonus
Awards Provide Additional Series Support
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Thanks to the support of premier sponsors Lucas Oil and Red Bull, the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, continues to grow as the world’s most prestigious dirt bike racing series. In addition to the 18 additional sponsors of the championship, the Industry Bonus Awards program provides another avenue for the sport’s most prominent supporters to show their commitment to racing.
Currently, Leatt-Brace, a well-respected developer of protective gear, Fly Racing, one of the most recognized race wear brands in the sport, and VP Racing Fuels, a prominent figure in race fuel technology, are taking advantage of the opportunity to provide its riders with an added incentive on the track. Should any competitor in the 450 or 250 Classes using any of these company’s products make his way to the podium at any of the 12 rounds this summer, he will receive a bonus award for his efforts.
“The Industry Bonus Awards are a unique chance for any series sponsors to support the athletes that use their products,” said Roy Janson, Managing Director of MX Sports Pro Racing. “It’s a collective effort to provide additional excitement and individual motivation to the competition on the track, while also showing each brand’s respective commitment to racing in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.”
Outside of general series sponsorship, the Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit provides arguably the most pivotal role in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, providing athletes the one-of-a-kind, top-notch medical attention on-site at each and every National. With that and the additional Championship support and programs from sponsors like Thor, Oakley, Air National Guard, etnies, Parts Unlimited, Kawasaki, and FMF, MX Sports Pro Racing welcomes any other brands to join Leatt-Brace, Fly Racing, and VP Racing Fuels to participate in the Industry Bonus Awards program.
The 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will hit the halfway point next weekend with the sixth round of the season from legendary RedBud in Buchanan, Mich. The Red Bull RedBud National will commence next Saturday, July 7, beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern.
