As part of the Red Bull Signature Series, Red Bull X-Fighters Glen Helen airs this Saturday, May 26 on NBC at 2 pm ET/11 am PT. The second stop of the world’s premier freestyle motocross series, X-Fighters visits its historical birthplace of Glen Helen, Calif. with host Sal Masekela taking viewers through the largest FMX course ever built. In the end, one competitor will top the podium and earn points toward the season-ending championship.
Built out of the natural terrain of the Southern California desert landscape, the course in Glen Helen will test the mettle of the best competitors in the world as they attack a course that includes a 60-foot high step up, the largest hill jump ever included in an X-Fighters course, and which will become a determining factor between the winners and the losers. The series began in Dubai and now continues on to Turkey, Spain, Germany and Australia. The field of international riders competes to earn points, accumulated throughout the season towards the overall title of Red Bull X-Fighters champion, displaying feats of aerial athleticism that defy gravity and push the limits of the sport.
