I remember the day Lance broke his wrist at Thurston County ORV, he was getting the best of Larry Ward for sure! Just one of those injuries that happens at the WRONG time.

Lance was a class act. Always was nice to us 3-digit guys at the nationals when we struggled. I was fortunate enough to hang out with him and his wife at Kenworthy's one year when he pulled out a 125 to race. Very cool guy, for sure.
